One of the hardest things about loosing your best friend is the overwhelming feeling of loneliness. Suddenly all those things you need to say can’t be said, and it is not because you are unable to speak or there isn’t anyone willing to listen. It’s that no one will truly understand the way you did, and more importantly, no one will ever respond the way you did.

So, you learn not to say anything anymore, and while you are silently existing all those things “best friends” do just because they are your “best friend” suddenly become painful.

There isn’t anyone anymore who will accompany you to awkward events. There isn’t anyone who you know who will support your newest endeavor, and the list goes on.

So, after not speaking, attending events alone and not having support your world becomes smaller and quieter. Yet, you continue because you have to, but “girls nights” are now just things you read about. So here I am my sweet friend forever reading.
