I Hope It Is Not Five O'Clock

Whenever I go into a store selling home items around the Spring and Summer those fun signs start to appear, most reading: "It's 5 o'clock somewhere." I never liked these signs because in all honesty I do not know anyone who schedules their cocktails.
However, now when I see these signs I start to panic. After having children 5 o'clock no longer suggests its time to relax but instead it is one of the worst times of the day. It is around the time you are finally making it home from work, your child is beginning to melt down because they have been in school or daycare all day, you have a mess from the "morning rush" to clean, you have dogs who are waiting to be fed, and no one is satisfied.
So I have made a list of the fastest CHILD approved dinners to throw together when 5 o'clock approaches...none of which include a fruity cocktail (All recipes will be posted in recipe section)
1. Turkey Meatballs (Either subs, or with pasta), cucumbers and hummus
2. Homemade Chicken Nuggets, sweet potato fries, and broccoli
3. Mini Chicken Pot Pies with a cup of berries
4. Homemade Pizza or Chicken and Hummus Pitas
5. Spinach and Cheese Ravioli with Pepper Slices
6. Ham Steak with Pineapple and Roasted Potatoes
7. Chicken and Avocado Burgers with Pesto Pasta
My Favorite Dinner!
Spinach Leaves, Shredded Carrots, Grilled Chicken (dressing mash 1/4 avocado

with lemon juice for dressing!)
